1. Tour Solaire
The video Tour Solaire begins by reversing the view: instead of measuring the remoteness of outer space, the view glides first from the observation platform of a disused observatory over Paris and then ultimately turns towards the interior of the tower. Overlaid by the soundtrack of Andrei Tarkovsky’s film Solaris, the camera moves through the abandoned observatory and then lingers on a few lifeless flies. The video is determined by scenarios veering between the suggestion of distance, the observation of concrete spaces and their details, the shift between inside and outside, between objectification and psychological interiors. The observatory appears here like a mute, unreal monument of an alien culture, like the instrument of a science beset by its own fictionalisation.

8. Less Than Three
'Less Than Three' is a short film about two friends who are directing the same short film, while also both dating the lead actress at the exact same time. The co-directors of 'Less Than Three', Nick Aucello and Joseph Lomas, acted in the film as themselves, two friends named Nick and Joe co-directing a short film, and the same holds true for many of the other positions in the cast and crew. While the awkward love triangle provides most of the films comedy, overall the film deals with more somber themes such as growing up, societal expectations, and the surrender of control.

14. Escape to Glory
The Grand Hotel formula that was so overworked in the 1930s made an encore appearance in 1940's Escape to Glory. The story is given timeliness by placing the characters on a British merchant ship on the very day that World War II is declared. The ship is attacked by a Nazi U-Boat, resulting in a variety of reactions from the diverse passengers--one of whom is a German doctor. Constance Bennett is glamorous, Pat O'Brien is boozy, John Halliday is pensive, and everybody else is plain fearful.
