The ninety minute feature is the culmination of well over 200 hours of original footage from all regions of the United States, as well as original animation by young urban farmer and artist Brooke Budner, and rare agricultural archival footage from the Prelinger Archives. Ultimately, The Greenhorns shows us how farmers can move out of the margins recent history has consigned them to, and back to the heart of the American food landscape.

Autumn is one of the busiest seasons on the farm. Tractorland is busy with great big machines. Huge combine harvesters are hard at work, as well as potato harvesters, apple harvesters and forage harvesters.

Farmer Tom is busy on the farm. Watch as he drives through the river to feed the cows. Sing along with the massive crane as it lifts the digger high into the air! We meet some of the animals that live in the countryside - cheeky squirrels, shy water voles and otters who are brilliant swimmers.

Springtime at Tractorland is full of lots of animals being born. We see some very young calves, bouncy puppies and jumping lambs. Sing-along with the JCB as he clears out the ditches.

13. World Domination Gardening
This project started with video from a three day workshop. The workshop covered the earthworks for building a pond without a liner, a swale, and a hugelkultur bed on a terrace. Then we added more footage by doing the same workshop over again in a colder climate. A year later, we returned to the first workshop site and added even more footage! We even had an evaluation by the Crown Prince of Permaculture, Geoff Lawton.
